I am completely expecting to lose all of my sleep time when the baby finally gets here. Come January, I am under no delusion that I will be getting no more than 2 hours of sleep at a time more than likely. When you don't sleep because you have such bad reflux that you wake up aspirating on dinner you ate over 4 hours ago and then have to "sleep" sitting up in a recliner it makes the following day(s) feel like you managed to pick up a cold/illness somewhere. I didn't sleep Wednesday night. I didn't sleep Thursday night. So Friday during the day I did some research on other things I could do to try and make my nights easier. It worked!! I slept from 11:15pm Friday night until 4am (where I just woke up to pee) and then fell back asleep until 8:30am. I literally felt like a new person! I have to think that when you have to be awake every 2 hours or so because of the baby, while you are tired, at least you don't feel physically ill. I hope.
