Everyone has those one pair of comfy pants that have been
your favorite pants for years. I mean
they are the go-to comfytime pants. Mine have been with me for about 8 or 9
years. Aside from them dragging on the ground when I walk (even though they are
never worn in public), they have been holding up really well.
They’ve been holding up until the growing belly. I’m at my all-time
heavyweight of 170 right now and while the pants don’t fit snug or anything,
they are protesting every single pound. The first seam to show screams of
protest is right on the hip on the right side. Since they are made well, they
have two layers on the top and so it didn’t make a straight up hole, but one
wrong move and that seam string was going to sprint down the outside of the
right pant leg. So I did it. I busted out the needle and thread and sewed up my
favorite comfypants. They are right as rain again and life is good.
I’ve hit a new low.
