First, my favorite new thing of Lyla’s is when she runs out
of a room into another room and just yells “going!!!”. That’s it. Nothing else.
And it is adorable. Also, she loves shoes so much that it can make or break a
day.. hell, an entire week. She’s also getting very opinionated on what she is
wearing at any time of the day. I am told that she wears her jacket, or “yacket”,
all day at daycare. It doesn’t matter how warm or cold or puffy or fuzzy it is.
We’ve also reached the attachment phase where, between her Mimi monkey and
binky, if she doesn’t have them both at the time she wants them (which is at
all times) then she has a MAJOR meltdown. She’s now the only kid in her class
that has these issues and is the only one that is constantly carrying around a
pacifier in her mouth. I get the impression that her teachers are somewhat
afraid of her. Heaven help us. I kinda am too.
