Lyla has moved from the wobbler 1 room at daycare to the wobbler 2 room. This is all sorts of awesome for several reasons. She has been hating going to daycare and we had come to the conclusion that she was super bored being with the transitioning baby blobs. They are adorable but most of them are still nonverbal and are just learning to walk. Lyla was long past that and I think it was super frustrating for her. Plus, a lot of the kids she was in the baby room with moved up and she is about 5 month younger than them so she lags on changing rooms based on age.
Anyway, she has been in the new room for a few weeks now and she LOVES it. She recognises her old pals, and they recognize her. So much so that when I dropped her off this morning this little boy named Colton ran up to us and very very excitedly kept saying "Lyla! Lyla! Hi Lyla!". I told her daddy how cute I thought it was and he told me that for the last few days Colton tells Lyla he loves her when she gets picked up.
Almost 20 months old and she's got the boys falling at her feet. Atta girl!
